When travelling along life’s highway you have choices of different routes you can take to reach your chosen destination.
Some of these routes can take you there faster but may not be so rewarding as you may miss some interesting sights on the way.
Other routes can be so difficult to follow, that you may get lost along the way, often stopping momentarily to ask someone for direction.
Finding your way to old well worn destinations can be easy as you have travelled that road many times before and follow your own internal navigation system.
However this old repeated journey can be so tedious and boring…leading to nowhere of interest any more.
It is so easy to hypnotise yourself into a repetitive pattern of behaviour, so that you’re no longer aware of where you really want to go.
On a long trip it is often useful to break up the journey, making it easier to deal with the complexities of travelling far away, allowing you to effectively discover the best route to take.
Sometimes a diversion on a journey you know so well can lead you to discover new and suprising things you have never encountered before you took that detour away from the familiar.
We are born with the desire to learn and grow through experience…
Always moving forward in time towards new horizons ahead of you, now.
